Hey, there! Welcome to the Now and Forever Love blog!
With fall arriving just around the corner, we’re already thinking about some fall wedding inspiration. Now, we know what you might be thinking after reading the title, “Orange?! That sounds so not pretty for a wedding…” but we’re here to show you how it can work! Even if orange isn’t your thing, we hope after reading this blog post, you’ll be inspired to think outside the box and to have the confidence that with the right amount of creativity, you can make anything work.
Ready? Let’s go!
MIX PINK WITH ORANGE: To start off, you can mix a hues of pink in with your orange. If you use a gradient of colors, not only will it look beautiful, but it will neutralize the orange color. It’s a great way to embrace the fall season while remaining with a more traditional wedding color palette. Try adding mauve with your orange tones and it will turn out gorgeous!
TANGERINES OR APRICOTS > PUMPKINS: We have to admit, not everyone is into everything pumpkin during fall. There’s good news for you folks-use tangerines or apricots instead! They’re super cute as the base of your name cards, as part of your reception table centerpieces, or as accents on your welcome table and/or wedding cake.
USE METALLICS AS YOUR NEUTRAL: Using golds as your neutral will amplify the warm tones of your orange color palette. It will tie the entire look together and create a romantic feel to the entire design! Use gold or metallic votives (where the candles go into), candelabras, and props to create a warm and slightly glamorous vibe for your fall wedding.
